Description of Program and Relief

United Way of Norman COVID-19 Recovery Fund

United Way of Norman is partnering with Food & Shelter to distribute funds collected through the United Way of Norman COVID-19 Response and Recovery Fund to those in Norman who are struggling to pay their rent and utility bills due to COVID-19. Payments from United Way of Norman’s COVID-19 Response and Recovery fund will be made directly to landlords and utility companies.

Eligibility Requirements/Restrictions

Individuals living in Norman who are struggling to pay rent and utility bills due to COVID-19. Applicants will need to present a payroll stub dated before March 13, 2020 and fill out a short form to be eligible for funds. Food & Shelter will conduct screening and intake over the phone Mondays through Fridays from 1 to 4 p.m.
