Description of Program and Relief

City of Philadelphia: Grab-and-Go Meals Program

The School District of Philadelphia, several charter schools, and the Philadelphia Housing Authority are working with the City’s Office of Children and Families to provide free grab-and-go meals for students throughout Philadelphia. The program makes meals available between 9 a.m. and noon Mondays through Thursdays at 80 locations throughout the city. Families may pick up six meals (three breakfastsand three lunches) per student.

Meals are available to all children and youth in Philadelphia; no ID is required.

For further information on the grab-and-go meal program, families should contact their local participating district school, charter school, or community center. (Note that pickup hours may vary for charter school locations, so families wishing to pick up meals from one of those locations are encouraged to reach out ahead of time to confirm hours of operation.)
