Salt Lake County Small Business Impact Grant (SBIG)

Salt Lake County small businesses that suffered a financial loss due to the COVID-19 pandemic are eligible for a one time grant up to $35,000 to be used on operating expenses such as payroll, rent, mortgage, utilities, insurance, inventory, and COVID-19 related expenses.

The SBIG is now available for small businesses in all industries. Businesses that were previously denied grant funds because they did not fall within the industry requirement or received CARES Act financial aid are encouraged to re-apply for Round 2 funding.

Businesses that received less than $35,000 in Round 1 funding and can prove additional losses between June 16 and July 31 are encouraged to apply for additional funding, not to exceed $35,000 in total.
