Description of Program and Relief

Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) Nutrition Assistance Program

Utah’s WIC program provides nutrition and breastfeeding services and supplemental foods to low-income women, infants, and children through the Special Supplemental Nutrition Program. Although there is no specific guidance related to COVID-19, families may be eligible if they meet general income and asset limit eligibility requirements.

Utah’s WIC program is reserved for pregnant women, new mothers, infants, and children up to their 5th birthday. To qualify, households must meet income guidelines, which are available at https://wic.utah.gov/about/apply/eligibility-requirements/.
