Description of Program and Relief

Fairfax County Extends Deadlines for Real Estate Taxes

To assist Fairfax taxpayers during the coronavirus pandemic, the Fairfax County Board of Supervisors approved a one month extension for paying the first installment of real estate taxes. Homeowners now have until August 28, 2020 to pay the first installment of their real estate taxes. The original deadline was July 28. Homeowners should contact their mortgage company if they have questions.
