Katherine Forrest to Discuss AI Legal Landscape and Ethics at NYSBA Annual Meeting

Digital Technology Group Co-Chair Katherine Forrest will participate in the Presidential Summit, titled “AI and the Legal Landscape: Navigating the Ethical, Regulatory and Practical Challenges,” as part of the New York State Bar Association’s 2024 Annual Meeting. Katherine, in conversation with Bridget McCormack, president and CEO of the American Arbitration Association and former chief justice of the Michigan Supreme Court, will discuss how the integration of AI and machine learning technologies is transforming the practice of law. Among other things, the program will cover the knowledge and skills lawyers need to understand, harness and navigate the ethical and regulatory challenges that arise from these technological advancements.

The NYSBA Annual Meeting will take place in New York City from January 16-20; the Presidential Summit is set for Wednesday, January 17 at 1 p.m. ET.
