Litigation partners Chris Boehning and Dan Toal published an article that appeared in the April 22 New York Law Journal. The article assesses several alternative e-discovery search methods and how they compare to the performance of keyword and Boolean searches. While alternative search methodologies may eventually surpass the performance of keyword and Boolean searches, the research conducted to date suggests they remain the state-of-the-art and the most appropriate search technology for most cases.
