Litigation partner Lorin Reisner participated in a panel discussion at the Practising Law Institute's seminar on "White Collar Crime 2014: Prosecutors and Regulators Speak." Lorin's panel, titled "Corporate vs. Individual Liability: Focus on Financial Institutions Enforcement," addressed whether major financial institutions are "too big to jail," strategies for defense counsel to navigate difficult issues, the proliferation of deferred prosecution and non-prosecution agreements, and the question of why comparatively few criminal cases have been brought against high-level financial institution executives. The event was a webcast and took place September 23.
