Aidan Synnott Quoted in Law360
Litigation partner Aidan Synnott was quoted in a Law360 article discussing the decision by the U.S. District Court for the District of New Jersey to dismiss a putative class action by consumers against magnesium oxide companies accused of a price-fixing conspiracy. Judge Dickinson R. Debevoise did, however, allow the amended complaint filed by a group of direct purchasers to proceed. Aidan, counsel to Sumitomo Corp. of America, one of the companies named in the suit, said that the judge was "fully correct" to throw out the indirect purchasers' case, noting that he was confident in his client's ability to defend the other claim.
