November 2, 2015 download pdf

Litigation partners Marty Flumenbaum and Brad Karp's Second Circuit Review column appeared in the October 28 issue of the New York Law Journal. The article, "Baseball Festival Exempt from FLSA Minimum Wage Requirements," analyzes Chen v. Major League Baseball Properties, in which the court considered the definition of "establishment" as it is used in the Fair Labor Standards Act, which exempts seasonal amusement and recreational establishments from its minimum wage requirements. Litigation associate Amy Beaux assisted in the preparation of this article.
