Description of Program and Relief
Childcare for Children of COVID-19 Frontline Workers, Grocery Store Employees, and Food Bank Workers
The Office of the Governor has partnered with the Arizona Department of Education and local childcare providers to establish Arizona Enrichment Centers to offer child care options for children of COVID-19 frontline workers, grocery store employees, and food bank workers. Families with children 12 years old or younger can sign up for child care through licensed childcare providers across the state. There is also a list of unlicensed community care providers offering care for children, including youth 13 years old and older.

Dates Available
Arizona Enrichment Centers will be open beginning on April 6, 2020, Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., and will continue to offer prioritized care to eligible families through the end of July.
Beginning on May 14, 2020, the program will expand to offer prioritized child care for the children of grocery store employees and food bank workers.
