Paul, Weiss Advises General Atlantic in Its Minority Investment in SouFun Holdings Limited
On September 22, Paul, Weiss client General Atlantic Mauritius Limited completed its purchase of 15,347,720 Class A ordinary shares of SouFun Holdings Limited (SouFun) from Telstra International Holdings Limited (the Seller), for an aggregate purchase price of US$163,069,525 in a private placement closing simultaneously with SouFun's initial public offering of its Class A ordinary shares. Certain entities controlled by Apax Partners and certain entities controlled by the management of SouFun also purchased SouFun shares from the Seller in the private placement.
