Litigation partners Chris Boehning and Dan Toal's article "Final 'Qualcomm' Opinion May Be Just a One-Time Pass," was published in the Technology Today section of the June 1 issue of the New York Law Journal. The article discusses the final opinion on Qualcomm Inc. v. Broadcom Corp., noting that the decision not to impose sanctions again should not be relied upon as establishing a standard for future cases, but rather as a results-oriented ruling -- one in which the court concluded that the appropriate sanction of "time served" had already been imposed.
