Paul, Weiss advised D1 Capital in its investment in Rivian Automotive Inc., the electric truck startup backed by Amazon.com Inc. and Ford Motor Co. that aims to put an electric pickup and SUV in production in 2021. The investment was part of a new $2.65 billion funding round. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
