General Atlantic Completes Investment in Decolar.com
Paul, Weiss advised General Atlantic in its investment in Decolar.com, a leading online travel agency in Brazil and across Latin America. Decolar.com provides online airline and hotel booking services to leisure and unmanaged business travellers in Latin America. The minority investment by General Atlantic will help the company to improve IT processes; build data-mining capabilities and analysis; pursue potential mergers and acquisitions; and recruit the best talent to build out Decolar.com's excellent management team. Terms of the transaction, which closed on April 16, were not disclosed.
