Dance Theater Workshop Announces Merger with the Bill T. Jones/Arnie Zane Dance Company
As reported on the front page of The Arts section of yesterday's New York Times, our long-time client Dance Theater Workshop agreed to merge with the Bill T. Jones/Arnie Zane Dance Company. The new organization will be called New York Live Arts. This is an unusual pairing of a presenting organization with an artist-led dance company. The transaction, which involved challenging negotiations over a 14-month period, requires court approval and is scheduled to close in late January.
