In honor of LGBT History Month, the Paul, Weiss Pride@Work Network presented a webinar featuring U.S. Rep. Sharice Davids and Pennsylvania State Representative Brian Sims. Litigation partner Craig Benson moderated the webinar, and corporate associate Merinda Davis delivered welcome remarks. Over 120 Paul, Weiss attendees tuned into the discussion on October 8 about historical lessons and the present state of LGBTQ advocacy; current challenges to our democratic systems; the empathy-building experiences of military families; managing overlapping challenges and traumas in today’s complicated world; and tips for aspiring lawmakers.
