Mark Mendelsohn Quoted in The Washington Post and Bloomberg News

Litigation partner Mark Mendelsohn was quoted in articles appearing in The Washington Post and Bloomberg News on July 14 and 15, respectively. The articles discuss the controversial plans of U.K. prosecutors to send as much as $30 million pounds ($45.7 million) from a BAE Systems Plc bribery probe settlement to Tanzania, the country where officials took the payoffs.

Mark said that whenever funds are returned in this fashion, "There is a grave danger that you're returning the money to the very people that took the bribes in the first place. The last thing one wants to do is fuel corruption in the name of fighting it."
